Further to the launch of the<a data-uw-original-href="https://howtodoitforeastyorkshire.org/" data-uw-rm-brl="PR" href="https://howtodoitforeastyorkshire.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">&nbsp;How to do it for East Yorkshire</a> website last September, East Riding of Yorkshire Council is interested in understanding the challenges and needs of local voluntary sector groups across the county.The How to Do it For East Yorkshire website is a useful resource for community and voluntary sector organisations, whether just starting out or wishing to expand an existing group.Organisations needing advice and guidance about setting up as an organisation, having appropriate governance in place (constitution, risk assessments, safeguarding policies etc), running events, or licenses should visit https://howtodoitforeastyorkshire.org/To understand what further help and support organisations require we have launched an online site to seek feedback. We are seeking feedback from Voluntary and Community organisations in East Riding

Digital Grants are now open for applications The grants are designed to help boost our local community using technology in two key ways: 1) Improving community facilities and spaces - making them more digitally connected 2) Enhancing services - getting better tech for providing services in our communities VCSE organisations and Town &amp;amp; Parish Councils can apply for grants from £2,000 to £25,000. Applications close on Friday, 20 December 2024, or earlier if all funds are allocated. Digital Grants are open for applications!

We&#39;re asking the East Riding&#39;s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector, Town and Parish Councils and any other local groups that own, occupy or use community assets to tell us about their digital needs. This could be anything from funding for a better internet connection in your building, to advice on how to run your group&#39;s social media profiles. Your responses to our first survey will help us design future grant funding to help organisations and groups meet their digital goals. This survey will be open for responses until Sunday 24 September.
